Preston Taylor Ministries (PTM) glorifies Christ Jesus by empowering Preston Taylor children to discover and live their God-inspired dreams through Christian friendships and love for learning.

PTM was founded in 1998 to confront many of the problems present in the Preston Taylor public housing area, problems like drug use, gang involvement, teenage pregnancy, illiteracy, poor school performance and crime. In order to provide hope for children and families living in this environment, PTM sponsors several avenues for building life-changing relationships. At PTM it's about relationships....

How excellent a picture of the kingdom of God it is when over 50 children and youth who live at-risk in the Preston Taylor community interact with over 50 children and youth who live in more supportive families and communities. The smiles and enthusiasm generated by over 5,000 water balloons and a spirited game of Capture the Flag created a ripe environment for “joy-filled friendships.” Throw into the mix some awesome adults who helped create a fun game, provided creative leadership, and involved all in being part of an important pursuit (capturing the enemy flag) surely gave God reason to smile. Our students are already asking when we can do it again.

Our youth pose at the Tennessee Aquarium, which they recently visited on an overnight "Mystery Trip" (they did not know their destination until they were on their way) to Chattanooga.
