Making Friends......Making A Difference......Being Made Different

Faith United Afterschool Program

On September 2, Preston Taylor, in partnership with Faith United Missionary Church, launched a second afterschool program In the Whites Creek area of Nashville. The program, led by Reverand Joyce Hyde as the Site Director and Penny Baga as the reading specialist, welcomed 12 children on its opening day. Eight volunteers were also on hand to assist in the program activities.

Patterned after the program at PTM's main site, the Faith United program allows students to rotate between homework assistance, enrichment activities, and assistance in reading. PTM anticipates having a total of 20 students by September 15.
