Preston Taylor Ministries (PTM) glorifies Christ Jesus by empowering Preston Taylor children to discover and live their God-inspired dreams through Christian friendships and love for learning.

PTM was founded in 1998 to confront many of the problems present in the Preston Taylor public housing area, problems like drug use, gang involvement, teenage pregnancy, illiteracy, poor school performance and crime. In order to provide hope for children and families living in this environment, PTM sponsors several avenues for building life-changing relationships. At PTM it's about relationships....

Interested in being a lunchmate mentor at PTM? We are looking for adults who are willing to invest in building "joy-filled friendships" with a child from PTM. Over 65 adults are currently matched with children in on-on-one relationships. See the lunchmate mentoring page for more information.

Calvin House Youth at the completion of a two hour canoe trip down the Harpeth River. Twenty youth participated in a summer program provided by PTM in partnership with St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.

Steve Ivey, a generous PTM supporter, has produced a downloadable CD for PTM that is available for purchase online at www.amazon.com, www.itunes.com and www.Wal-Mart.com. The hymns are traditional favorites with a gospel feel. $8 from each CD download goes directly to PTM.
